Florida State will return to action this Saturday at noon against Georgia Tech.
The Seminoles are mired in a three-game losing streak, but they'll take on a Yellow Jackets squad that is in a state of transition after their head coach was fired earlier this season.
Making their return to Tallahassee are quarterback Jeff Sims, who was committed to Florida State before signing with Georgia Tech, and his position coach, Chris Weinke, who won the 2000 Heisman Trophy at Florida State. Georgia Tech defeated the Seminoles 16-13 the last time they met in the 2020 season opener.
If you aren't able to travel to Tallahassee for the game, join your fellow Palm Beach County Seminoles at Grease on Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach or Jumby Bay Island Grill in Jupiter's Abacoa community.
Both locations will offer 20% off food and drinks and $1 touchdown shots to all those FSU fans wearing the required wristbands.
There will also be door prizes for the chance to win FSU football tickets. Saturday's prizes include tickets to the Nov. 19 Louisiana game.
Proceeds from your donations benefit the Palm Beach County Seminole Club scholarship fund, which provides three scholarships each year to local students who have chosen to continue their education at FSU.
All fans are encouraged to arrive early as there is no reserved seating.
