This is the third straight Friday night game between the schools. The Seminoles won 14-0 the last time FSU traveled to Chestnut Hill. The Seminoles will try to rebound from a tough loss to top-ranked Alabama in their home opener against Louisiana-Monroe this Saturday at noon. As Hurricane Irma continues to pose a threat to South Florida, the Palm Beach County Seminole Club has altered its game-watching plans after consulting with the host venues, fellow volunteers and other Seminole Clubs throughout the state. The club's first priority is the safety of its volunteers, members, employees of the venues that host the game-watching parties throughout the season and their families. At this time, Grease Burger Bar on Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach intends to remain open for the game, but that could change if the timing of the storm changes. Because of the threat of the storm, Mellow Mushroom will be closed Saturday. |
