The Seminoles will try to make it eight in a row against the Hurricanes when they host No. 13 Miami this Saturday at 3:30 p.m.Miami is undefeated headed into the game, which was rescheduled from Sept. 16 because of Hurricane Irma. The Hurricanes haven't beaten Florida State since 2009. If you aren't able to travel to Tallahassee for the game, join your fellow Palm Beach County Seminoles at Grease Burger Bar on Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach or Mellow Mushroom off Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray Beach. Grease will offer a 25% percent discount and $1 touchdown shots, while Mellow Mushroom will offer a 15% discount on food and various drink specials to all those FSU fans wearing the required wristbands. There will also be door prizes for the chance to win FSU football tickets. |

The Seminoles will try to rebound from a tough loss to top-ranked Alabama in their home opener against Louisiana-Monroe this Saturday at noon. As Hurricane Irma continues to pose a threat to South Florida, the Palm Beach County Seminole Club has altered its game-watching plans after consulting with the host venues, fellow volunteers and other Seminole Clubs throughout the state. The club's first priority is the safety of its volunteers, members, employees of the venues that host the game-watching parties throughout the season and their families. At this time, Grease Burger Bar on Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach intends to remain open for the game, but that could change if the timing of the storm changes. Because of the threat of the storm, Mellow Mushroom will be closed Saturday. |

The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches will be collecting supplies for victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas. The Ballpark is the spring training home of the Houston Astros. There will be a truck parked in front of the ballpark to collect all supplies until September 8th when the truck departs to deliver the supplies to Texas. Donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and on Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. The ballpark issued this list of preferred supplies:
